Smells don't really bother me too much. In fact I would say I have a high tolerance for bad smells. I can pretty much tell my brain to ignore the smell, and it does.
All that being said, there is one smell that I can't stand and that is the smell of rotten eggs. It's just this seeping, nasty smell that doesn't hit you as much in the nose as it does in the pit of your stomach. It's usually not the kind of overpowering smell that hits you all at once and makes you gag for a few seconds until you've moved on, but its a constant, lingering, persistent foulness that leaves an all too lasting impression on your nostrils and brain alike.
Last night Nampa smelled like rotten eggs.

I can't stand the smell of salt. I'm not sure why, except that in biology class once I inhaled deeply over a big jar of salt and couldn't get the nauseating smell out of my nose for days...weird, I know.
As for Martha "the Fox" Stewart, methinks there's a bit of Photoshop lurking about in the shadows...
And finally, I thought your political analysis was a great read. It's interesting how the VP candidates are driving political discussion right now, given that people vote for presidential candidates, not VPs. Also, the doomsday picture of McCain dying in office that the left is touting makes it sound like they're planning for him to kick the bucket 3 days after taking oath. It must be pretty disheartening to McCain's family to read in the news that their husband/father/brother/son will likely die in four years or less...and yet, none of them are advocating that he get out of the race. Not to mention, I think his 20 plus years of Senatorial experience MIGHT have helped prepare him for the stress of the presidency. Okay, that's probably enough rant for one night. Hope the debates are everything you're looking for. (-:
